Tara knows what motivates and drives people. With First Class Honours in Organisational Psychology and over 10 years of experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and organisations across For-Purpose, Public and Private Sectors. Her strengths-based leadership approach is underpinned by positive psychology, which focuses on growing what is working well.

Tara has significant consulting experience working with senior leaders within not-for-profit and public sector organisations across a broad depth and breadth of projects, such as Psychosocial Risk Assessment, Functional & Structural Reviews, Staff Engagement & Performance Improvement, Remuneration Strategy, and Regional Expansion. She is skilled in stakeholder engagement and project management and cares deeply about the success of her clients, their people and those they serve.

She has a contemporary background in organisational development and human resources and is up to date with emerging evidence-based practices. In addition to her work at Talenting, she has been involved in implicit bias, leadership, and organisational intervention research. She is a scholarship recipient and graduate of the 2022 Emerging Leaders in Governance Program and contributes as a network convenor and mentor for the Australian Human Resources Institute and as a board member for Perth Improvised Theatre Society (Only the Human). Through her work, volunteering and research experience, she has become skilled at encouraging successful, inclusive and diverse business cultures.

Tara is an accredited coach and in multiple psychometric assessment tools. She has a fundamental understanding of their administration, debriefing, and the benefits to organisations in the recruitment process, onboarding and individual, team & leadership development. With her coaching background, she is skilled at encouraging growth and high performance for individual, team and organisational success. Tara is currently a member of the Murdoch University HRM Curriculum Advisory Committee.
